ED ROBINSON aka “Mr. Knocking On Heaven’s Door” is back with a new single, “Hard To Get” from Austin, Texas-based label, Music4Life.

Ed Robinson delivers a sweet lover’s rock tune about a woman who is playing hard to get and how his persistence will eventually pay off.

Jamaican-born Ed Robinson is a veteran of the reggae music industry for more than 20 years and has worked with Maxi Priest, Morgan Heritage, Snoop Dog, and Marcia Griffiths.

The riddim is a collaboration between John Patterson from Kapaa, Hawaii and R.J. Johnson (DJ-RJ) in Austin, Texas. John and RJ met in a music personals ad in the Austin Chronicle in 1988. Both of them are entrepreneurs and musicians, John runs his watch company, Bathys Hawaii and RJ has been an on-air reggae DJ on KAZI 88.7 FM in Austin since 1989 with his bi-weekly show, Reggae Evolution. Hard To Get was mixed by legendary Jamaican mixing engineer, Steven Stanley at Mixing Lab in Kingston, Jamaica and a dub mix is also included. The project is released on RJ’s Music4Life label with digital distribution being handled by Zojak Worldwide.
